Re-engaging young adults to support OSSD Completion.

There are a number of factors that lead to DDSB students leaving school before the completion of their OSSD:

  • New Canadians
  • Move to Durham Region and are over the age of 18
  • Marginalized Youth
  • Transient lifestyles
  • Mental and Physical Health
  • Not having access to unique program needs that support specific pathways or provide Authentic learning opportunities

  • Nine week Sessions
  • Unique Course offerings based on Student Voice, Student Needs, and Student Learning Styles

  • A focus on Pathways planning for University, College, and The Workplace
  • Make strong Community Connections for students to support their learning and personal growth
