Duffin's Bay Public School
The School Community Council (SCC) is a group of interested parents, school staff, and community members who work with the principal to support the students of the school. The SCC supports student achievement by advising the school principal on school matters such as board policies, the Student Code of Conduct, and the spending of fundraising profits. They also communicate information to parents regarding specific school issues. Meetings are open to the public, but you must be a member of the SCC to vote.
S.C.C. Mission Statement:
The purpose of Duffin's Bay Public School is to provide academic learning in a student-centred environment that is conducive to positive personal growth. We are committed to promote the values of care, consideration and co-operation in our students. In association with the school community, we will help students to adopt a socially responsible attitude as they become productive members of our changing society.
