​Staff at Lakeside have analyzed the school data, as they do each year, to determine our core priorities, strengths, ​areas of needs and growth and develop the School Improvement Plan for Student Acheivement and Well-Being, which is aligned with the Durham District School Board Improvement Plan for Student Acheivement and Well-being.

Lakeside Public School's Core Priorities for Student Achievement and Well-Being

Here at Lakeside, and as a DDSB focus on deepening the learning, we are committed to student achievement and well-being in 5 Core Priorites, Numeracy, Literacy, Well-Being, Equity and Inclusion and Leveraging Digital.


Mathematics:

GOAL:

·    75% of participating Grade 3 and Grade 6 students will achieve level 3 or 4 as measured by the 2018 Provincial Mathematics EQAO assessment.


 Literacy:

GOAL:   

·    90% of participating Grade 3 and Grade 6 students will achieve level 3 or 4 as measured by the 2018 Provincial Reading EQAO assessment.

·    85% of participating Grade 3 students and 85% of participating Grade 6 students will achieve level 3 or 4 as measured by the 2018 Provincial Writing EQAO assessment.
