WHITBY, ON — The Brooklin Village Public School community is celebrating the remarkable efforts of its Grade 6 Leadership Team, whose dedication and compassion resulted in the collection of 1,263 food items for local food banks serving the Whitby community.

Ajax, ON - What began as a celebration of Canadian history has grown into an extraordinary moment of generosity for Lincoln Avenue Public School. Following the school’s annual Grade 8 “Greatest Canadian” History Fair, Indigo founder and Indigo Love of Reading Foundation chair Heather Reisman was so inspired by the students’ work that she committed a $16,000 donation from the Foundation to help transform and expand its library.

Gandatsetiagon Public School has brought a vibrant new initiative to life –  one that includes messages of empowerment, inclusion, and community pride.

Durham District School Board (DDSB) hosted its annual Abilities Track and Field Meet, bringing together students, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters for one of the most uplifting and inspiring events of the year.
