The Durham Elementary Athletic Association (DEAA) wrestling season is from January to April.

Championships

There are 6 separate championships in Durham:

  1. Senior boys
  2. Junior boys
  3. Novice boys
  4. Senior girls
  5. Junior girls
  6. Novice girls

There can be 25 to 35 different weight classes in each category. Approximately 40 schools and upwards of 1100 wrestlers participate each year.

The regional wrestling convenor is Dan Chartres from Pringle Creek Public School.
