On-Boarding Lunchroom Supervisors
Congratulations on your new position as a Lunchroom Supervisor with the Durham District School Board (DDSB)! We are delighted to welcome you to our team and appreciate your commitment to supporting the well-being and success of our students and school communities.
As a Lunchroom Supervisor, you may not work in schools unless you provide:
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check dated within 6 months of your start date, OR a completed Offence Declaration Form with a receipt from the local police service confirming you have applied for a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Once you have received your Vulnerable Sector Check, a copy must be scanned and emailed to the People and Culture department (hr.services@ddsb.ca).
IF you possess a valid Work Permit (Social Insurance Number starting with a ‘9’), a copy of your work permit must be provided with your hiring package.
Please ensure to protect your Employee ID and DDSB e-mail information. This information will assist you with access to the staff portal, SPARK and Employee Self Serve (ESS). Your employee ID and e-mail address will not change for subsequent years that you work for the DDSB.
