On-Boarding Lunchroom Supervisors
Congratulations on your Lunchroom Supervisor position with the Durham District School Board (DDSB). We are excited to have you support our schools and students.
As a Lunchroom Supervisor, you are NOT permitted to work in schools unless:
- A current Vulnerable Sector Police Check is provided, dated within 6 months of your start date OR a completed Offence Declaration. A receipt, provided by the local police service must be attached to the offence declaration, as proof of application for a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Once you have received your Vulnerable Sector Check, a copy must be scanned and submitted to hr.services@ddsb.ca

IF you possess a valid Work Permit (Social Insurance Number (SIN) starting with a 9), a copy of your work permit must be provided with your new hire package.
Please ensure to protect your Employee ID and DDSB e-mail information. This information will assist you with access to the staff portal, SPARK and Employee Self Serve (ESS). Your employee ID and e-mail address will not change for subsequent years that you work for the DDSB.
