Mathify (Homework Help)

Durham District School Board (DDSB) partners with Mathify to provide students in Grades 4 to 12 with free online math tutoring.  By using Mathify, you will get one-on-one tutoring support from an Ontario certified math teacher.

Register for Mathify

You can register for Mathify online. To create an account, you will need to provide your:

• Email address
• Ontario Education Number (found on your report card)
• Grade
• School Board

Students can also register and login through the VLE (D2L Brightspace) accessible through the Student Mobile Campus.

Online tutors

Mathify tutors are available 7 days a week from 9:00a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and are accessible on all devices. Each grade has an online discussion room where students can:

• Interact with tutors using voice and text
• Solve math problems with tutors using interactive whiteboards

Create a math portfolio of their work and review lessons

24-hour support

If you are unable to attend the online tutoring session, you can still receive math support. Mathify provides 24-hour access to your personalized math portfolio and other resources that can be used from home or school.
