1.0 Board approval will be deemed granted for the construction and erection of playground equipment on Board property provided that:

1. an application for placement of equipment has been submitted to the Superintendent of Education/Facilities Services from the sponsoring organization,
2. the location is approved by the Principal and Superintendent of Education/Facilities Services,
3. the equipment is safe and relatively maintenance-free,
4. the sponsoring organizations is responsible for maintaining the equipment in good repair,
5. the Board reserves the right to order the removal of the equipment at any time, if in the opinion of the Board said removal is deemed necessary,
6. the Board reserves the right to determine the location of the equipment,
7. Board approval will be required for the installation of any additional equipment and/or the relocation on school property of any previously approved equipment.
