1.0 Awarding Transportation Contracts

1.1 Transportation contracts between the Durham District School Board and bus operators shall follow Ministry of Education direction, the Broader Public Sector Procurement Act and/or Board Legal Counsel. 

1.2 No person, firm or corporation, directly or indirectly, through any corporation, agent or otherwise shall be awarded a contract or contracts for a number of routes exceeding 49% of the total of all contracted vehicles for the preceding year.

2.2 Contracts shall be negotiated or tendered in accordance with Ministry of Education direction, the Broader Public Sector Procurement Act and/or Board Legal Counsel.
