The Durham District School Board recognizes the importance of an official school opening ceremony as a celebration for the school, board and community.

School opening ceremonies shall be conducted according to the process outlined in Regulation: Official School Opening, Procedure: School Openings and Amalgamations, and the School Opening Guideline.
