Election of Trustees for the 2022-2026 Term

Municipal and School Board Elections took place on Monday, October 24, 2022. In accordance with the unofficial results from each municipality, the following individuals have been elected as Trustees of the Durham District School Board (DDSB) for the 2022-2026 term of office. The new Trustees will be sworn into office at the Inaugural Board meeting taking place on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

* While elected by geographic area, once they become members of the Board, Trustees serve the interests of all students and families within the District.

Under the Education Act, Trustees are mandated to:

• promote student achievement and well-being
• deliver effective and appropriate educational programs
• develop, maintain and monitor the effectiveness of Board policies
• develop, communicate and review a Strategic Plan
• monitor the performance of the Director of Education
• practice responsible stewardship of Board resources

The current Board of Trustees will remain in place until their last day of office on Monday, November 14, 2022.
