Recent school upgrades funded by the Governments of Canada and Ontario

The Governments of Canada and Ontario are funding upgrades to DDSB schools through the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream. 

This funding means that DDSB schools will receive important improvements to help schools adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Improvements will vary from school to school but may include items such as:

• Wireless Infrastructure Upgrades
• Ventilation Upgrades
• Constructing Outdoor Classrooms
• Vestibules to Conduct COVID-19 Screening
• New Portable Classrooms
• Window Replacements
• Water Bottle Filling Stations
• Wall Mounted Hand Sanitizer Stations
• Keyless Access
• Childcare Centre Plexiglass Partitions
• Power Door Operators
• Kindergarten Fence Area Extensions
