Rescheduled Professional Activity Day in April 2024

The Durham District School Board announced today the rescheduling of an upcoming Professional Activity Day originally set for Friday, April 19. The new date for the PA Day is Monday, April 8.

This decision comes in light of a solar eclipse anticipated to occur around dismissal time on Monday, April 8. The rescheduling is a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

The rescheduled PA Day will continue to offer valuable opportunities for professional development for teachers and staff.
