Student Voice Conference
In celebration of South Asian and Asian Heritage Month, Durham Educators’ Network for South Asians (DENSA) and Muslim Educators’ Network of Durham (MEND) will be hosting their first ever Student Voice Conference. The theme for this conference is Be You: Explore, Discover & Re-imagine.
Students in Grades 7-10 will have the opportunity to engage in one of the following workshops: Leading for Change, My Identity, or Media, Messages & Stereotypes. These interactive workshops will help students to further discover various aspects of their roots.
