Registering International or Non-Resident Students
Registration in the Durham District School Board for international and non-resident students is processed according to the Education Act and citizenship and immigration laws. Visit the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials to assess your credentials when immigrating to Canada.

International Students
Students who are not currently in Canada but will be using our acceptance as a means to obtaining their study permit. These are fee paying students.

Non-Resident Students
Students who are in Canada currently under one of the following status’ (Work Permit, Study Permit, Refugee, Applied PR).
If you are living in Canada, under one of the statuses below, please follow the steps outlined in the Non-Resident Student Registration Guide provided below.
- Parent Study Permit
- Parent Work Permit
- Application for Permanent Residency has been submitted
- Refugee
