Registering International Students

Registration in the Durham District School Board for international students (non-resident) is processed according to the Education Act and citizenship and immigration laws. Visit the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials to assess your credentials when immigrating to Canada.

If you are living in Canada, and wish to apply under one of the statuses below, please follow the steps outlined in the International Student Registration Guide.

  • Parent Study Permit
  • Parent Work Permit
  • Application for Permanent Residency has been submitted
  • Refugee
  • Valid Visitor Permit
