Accessibility
Whether you work in, attend, or use the facilities provided by Durham District School Board (DDSB), we want to make sure that our services are accessible. This will ensure that we are providing an equitable and inclusive education environment for all community members. The DDSB is committed to supporting and meeting the objectives and requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
Translated Resources
A prepared package of general information and helpful resources for families is available in the following languages:
Student Accommodations
If your child requires accommodations, such as adaptive technology or additional learning support, speak with a teacher at your school. They can help you access the appropriate accommodation or put you in contact with Inclusive Student Services.
Accommodations for Public Events
If you require accommodations for yourself or another participant for an event, please contact us directly.
Requesting Alternative Formats
Durham District School Board is committed to providing accessible information and communications. If you require an alternative format for any publicly available DDSB documents, please contact the Digital Accessibility Coordinator by email at communications.department@ddsb.ca.
