There are many athletics programs and opportunities available in Durham District School Board. Programs can vary by sport, skill or other special requirements of student-athletes.
Our key opportunities include:
- Academy for Student Athletic Development (ASAD) for high performance student-athletes in secondary school
- Durham Elementary Athletic Association (DEAA) which organizes interschool athletic competition for elementary school students
- Athletes Doing Accessible Programs Through Sport (ADAPTS) for secondary student-athletes with special needs
- Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics (LOSSA) which organizes interschool athletic competitions for secondary school students
- Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) which provides provincial championships and festivals for student-athletes across Ontario
