DDSB’s Own Lisa Cole Appears in STEM-Related Photo Exhibit

Lisa Cole is a Math and Physics teacher with the Durham District School Board who is currently working with the Ministry of Education. Cole was chosen to be a part of the #TurningTablesinSTEM initiative, which is a photo-research exhibit promoting the involvement of girls and women in science.

She is one of 14 women ranging in age from nine to 86 years old who are featured in this artistic yet impactful collection. The chosen ladies of Science, Engineering, Science & Math had their images captured by photographer Hilary Gauld and Wilfrid Laurier University researcher Eden Hennessey. View the whole story, Turning Tables: Women in STEM take their seats on the Laurier website.
