Durham Integrated Arts Camp (DIAC)

Durham Integrated Arts Camp (DIAC) is a fully immersive arts camp open to Grades 7 - 12 students who attend a Durham District School Board (DDSB) school.

DDSB teachers and administrators, as well as professional working artists, supervise the camp. The goal of DIAC is to celebrate each camper's individual artistic voice and talent.

DIAC offers major studios in:

  • Dance
  • Instrumental music
  • Visual arts
  • Musical theatre

Campers will learn and improve their skill in their chosen art form. They will also experience world-class performances by Canadian musicians, actors and dancers.

Camp location and dates

2020 DIAC Camp will take place — May 30 - June 6, 2020

Camp usually starts the first week of June. It is an 8-day program exploring the arts at Camp White Pine in Haliburton, Ontario.


Camp costs $625.00 per student.

Application deadline

Application deadline for this year's camp (June 2020) will be February 13th. 2020.

Please note - Applications received (in whole or in part) after the
deadline of February 13, 2020 are at risk of not being accepted and
therefore, students may lose the opportunity to go to DIAC 2019.
